Casajús 2004 Vendimia Seleccionada (Ribera del Duero)

Heavy and a touch nutty at first, with coconut and earth. Then it opens to a palate of black cherry, plum, mocha and coffee. Has breadth and medium tannic grab, with a solid feel and density. A little big at 14.5% but quite good overall. Michael Schachner
