This is a curious, highly individual Malbec. The nose is briary, with sandalwood notes and a suggestion of blueberry. The palate, however, is severely ripped with acidity, such that this is borderline astringent. Flavors of plum, currant, lemon, spice and leafy herbs finish gritty due to enamel-peeling acidity.
