Cass 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles)

Blackberry, cracked pepper, crushed herbs, licorice and coffee show on the nose of this bottling, which includes 10% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. There is decent heft to the sip, which offers flavors of blackberry, oregano, anise and a pinch of dill. Matt Kettmann
