Cass 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles)

Slightly sour aromas of black plum meet with dusty earth, dried oregano and black olive on the nose of this bottling, which includes 12% Merlot, 6% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Strong oak hits the palate right away, then come tightly woven blackberry, violet and mocha flavors. Matt Kettmann
