Cass 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles)

Very approachable aromas of black cherry, cola, mocha and dried meat combine candied and savory sides on the nose of this bottling, which includes 12% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot and 4% Malbec. Rich flavors of violet, black cherry and black currant ride an impressive weight while polished yet still firm tannins hold the ripeness together. Matt Kettmann
