Cass 2018 Reserve Red (Paso Robles Geneseo District)

Focused aromas of blackberry, baked strawberry, crushed pencils and cocoa are potent on the nose of this bottling of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petite Sirah, 7% Malbec and 2% Merlot. It's a seriously structured wine on the palate, but with fresh and lifted flavors of blackberry pie, black pepper and roasted fennel. Matt Kettmann
