Castarède 1964 Gers Armagnac

The nose is tired, dusty, limply sweet and raisiny. The palate is more characterful and offers ripe flavors of dates, figs, raisins and prunes. The aftertaste is long, intensely fruity and ripe, if a bit flabby. For fanciers of older, sweeter brandies who don't mind a little corpulence. P.P.
