Castarède Réserve de la Famille Gers Armagnac

The first nosing passes find scents of nuts, old leather and milk chocolate; after aeration the leather scent dominates. The palate entry is long, sweet, toffee-like and medium fat; the midpalate's taste features caramel, nougat, and sautéed almonds with oaky vanilla at the core. Finishes well with a creamy texture. P.P.
