Here's a classically crafted Brunello, with nuanced aromas of violet, iris, tobacco and clove on the nose. The palate delivers a core of black cherry flavor punctuated with nutmeg, eucalyptus and truffle. It's tight and tannic now, but should develop great complexity with time; drink 2016–2023.
