Castello di Borghese 2003 Barrel Fermented Pinot Noir (North Fork of Long Island)

Tea leaves and cranberry lead in this barrel fermented Pinot. The berry flavors are ripe but there's little happening here beyond the initial, quiet fruit presence. Needs more complexity and elegance. Susan Kostrzewa
