Castello di Monsanto 2001 Nemo Cabernet Sauvignon (Toscana)

This wine is deeply toasted, boasting almost campfire-like notes lavished over aromas of prune, blackberry, tobacco, leather and a hint of cherry liqueur. Roasted peanuts are another immediately recognizable aromatic component. Velvety in the mouth with firm tannins and a nice acid-to-fruit balance.
