The herbaceous quality and glimmers of sweet smoke add depth to the blueberry, red cherry and strawberry spine of this wine. The medium-weight mouth boasts a texture like crushed satin, soft and refined yet structured. An earthy note of sous bois remains through the long close. It's drinking well now, but it should also age nicely through 2016.
