Clean and full, with nuances of tree bark, bramble and dried cherry. This wine sports a good level of balance; there's some ripe cherry and berry fruit, and also some coffee that creates a dark side. The finish is slightly dry and bitter, but that's a welcome foil to any leftover sweetness.
