Cavas Hill 2001 Sauvignon Blanc Hill Sauvignon Blanc (Penedès)

Aromas of sweet corn and hay create a creamy sensation, while the palate offers modest lemon and green apple. The finish is tangy, but here some celery and bell pepper appear. It's a wine seemingly on the down side; best to wait for a subsequent and hopefully fresher vintage. Michael Schachner
