Cherry and plum aromas drive the bouquet even if they come across without much oomph. The palate is borderline tangy, yet it stops short of the line labeled “sour” and doesn't cross it. Thus with food it will do perfectly well. The snap, texture and tang all make for a lively wine, one seemingly prescribed for everyday drinking.
