Cave de Turckheim 2012 Brand Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)
The palate is shy and needs air. It also surprises with a rounded pleasant nuttiness, amply supported by generously ripe pear fruit. This is juicy and moreish, with a hint of residual sweetness. Lemony freshness ensures that the finish is just dry. The combination of nuttiness, fruit and freshness is very convincing, harmonious and moreish. Anne Krebiehl MW
