All of the fruit for this wine comes from Burgess Vineyard. Unusual, not entirely harmonious aromas of blueberry, syrup, licorice, smoke and vanilla bean lead to flavors that show more of the same. The concentration starts out light, particularly in the middle, fleshing out a bit over time. Menthol notes linger on the finish. It's an unusual offering. Sean P. Sullivan
