Candied black-cherry aromas are typical of Ribera del Duero. In the mouth, this is tough, wiry and cheek-sapping. Berry and loud oaky flavors finish with a drawing sense of raw tannins along with peppery, bitter notes. The more air this gets, the better it will show.
