A bit of a kitchen sink beer, but it all works to the taste bud's great benefit. A mixed culture ale aged in Bourbon barrels, and then fermenters, with Viognier grapes, apricots, nectarine, and radish honey. The result is a slightly musty with age woody fruit-forward blend that feels at home in a well appointed home library, complete with leather chair. At times there are pricks of spice and a nuttiness, quickly followed by mellow sweetness and tartness. John Holl
