Like Ceretto's other 2001 Barolos, Prapó is beautifully balanced. It's fresh and fruity without being candied or simple; meaty and earthy without being heavy or dull. Bright red fruit mingles easily with dusty earth, finishing with powdery-feeling tannins and a refreshing hint of anise. Imported by Moët Hennessy USA. Joe Czerwinski
