Chabot Napoleon Armagnac

The first minutes of nosing don't accomplish much; later passes reveal still subdued but firmer scents of honey wheat toast, soft oak, and muesli. Palate entry is stunningly long, rich, and deep, as well as honeyed; by midpalate the flavor profile is full-blown, caramel-like and toasty sweet. Finishes with a honeyed/Sherried taste and moderate sweetness. P.P.
