Chalk Hill 1999 Estate Bottled Chardonnay (Chalk Hill)

Expensive, but worth it for the classy aromas and flavors. The peach, pear and apple notes are polished, and oak contributes smoky, spicy complexities that don't overwhelm. The round, supple texture is accompanied by refreshing acidity, and the finish is long and clean.
