Challenger Ridge 2010 Moss Hill Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley (WA))

Oaky scents are followed by oaky flavors (from two years in new French oak), along with notes of stem, earth, tobacco and flint. This is definitely a showcase for the earthy/herbal style of Cabernet, but the wine keeps it interesting with layered and nuanced flavors. Paul Gregutt
