Chamisal 2016 Chardonnay (Edna Valley)

There's a somewhat metallic undercurrent on the nose of this bottling, which is sharp and sour with green-pear rinds on the nose. The palate is clean and crisp but also rides on the more sour edge of the spectrum, with green-apple-skin flavors. Matt Kettmann
