Chan de Rosas 2016 Gran Cuvée Albariño (Rías Baixas)

A reticent nose offers mature peach and stone fruit notes but nothing too bright or exciting. A chunky palate is living off latent acidity, while this tastes vaguely of apple juice and peach. Albariño is not known for its aging ability, and this is showing its age. Drink immediately. Michael Schachner
