The nose of this Marquette is all spice and jammy dark berries, with whiffs of Luxardo cherries. The rounded palate shows warm, baked cranberry, blackberry, blueberry sauce and cedar. Soft tannins lend structure and quiet acidity teeters on the edge of flabby, finishing on cassis and a woody tang. Fiona Adams
