Charles Creek 2008 Riesling (El Dorado County)

A very nice, clean-drinking Riesling from high up in the Sierra Foothills. It's dry in the Alsatian style, with scoury acidity and pure flavors of green citrus blossom, honeysuckle, sage, petrol and stony minerals. A great “other” white wine for sommeliers to put on the wine list.
