A finely made Merlot with smaller amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Malbec and Petit Verdot blended in. It offers soft red currant fruit, with a nice integration of tannins on the palate. There's a long grip of black pepper and clove on the finish, and the wine is balanced in weight and alcohol.
