Starts with sweet scents of bread dough, light herb and green apple. Well-made, with lean, fresh flavors of apple and pear. The bubbles are extra fine, and the wine is crisp and balanced. For all its poise, it is a bit one-dimensional. A bracing style best-suited for salty, briny foods.
