Château Arnauld 2017 Cru Bourgeois (Haut-Médoc)

An ancient property, this dates to medieval times when the land was owned by a monastery. This latest release reveals a wine with power as well as structure. The 60% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend shows strongly in the black-currant fruits and slightly stalky tannins. Drink from 2022. Roger Voss
