90–92. Barrel Sample. Once owned by the Bernadotte family, rulers of Sweden, this estate is home to an impressive chateau. The wine is darkly concentrated and tightly packed with tannins, suggesting considerable long-term potential. There is a spicy character to the wine, along with notes of black plum skin. Try after 2025.
