Château Bianca 2001 Cellar Select Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This is clearly, identifiably Pinot, and it displays a broadly accessible palate of varietal flavors. Beetroot, cranberry, some sassafras and cola, with well-modulated tannins and a nice, svelte, varietal finish. Nothing spectacular, but a very nice effort for the money. Paul Gregutt
