With 39% Petit Verdot, this is a rarity in Bordeaux. It is certainly reflected in the dark color of the wine. It has spice and a densely concentrated structure, firm and chunky. There are the Bordeaux tannins and the acidity of 2008, filled out with a bitter chocolate and black berry character.
