Chateau Changyu-Castel 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (China)

Earthy herbs and smoked sausage on the nose of this Cab are followed by elegant flavors of cinnamon spice and plum. The wine has decent structure and a lovely deep color, but there's a hint of bitterness that is tough to throw your arms around. Though not a complex wine, it has character. Susan Kostrzewa
