Château de Braude 2012 Haut-Médoc

Editors' Choice

Part of the same estate as the Margaux Mongravey but just outside the appellation line, de Braude shares something of the Margaux character. This 2012 is dense and concentrated, with powerful red and black berry flavors. Packed with both fruit and ripe tannins, it needs to age, so wait until 2017. Roger Voss
