Château de Briat 1985 Baron de Pichon-Longueville Bas Armagnac

Moderately pleasing scents of ripe banana, pear, tea leaves and distant oak resin. Entry is off-dry, lean and oaky; by midpalate, the taste is sweeter. Oak dominates the aftertaste as do flavors of cardboard and light toffee. P.P.
