Château de Fontpinot Très Vieille Réserve du Château Grande Champagne Cognac

Mahogany color. Rich, semisweet nose is so ideally melded that no one attribute leaps out except for traces of cinnamon and cedar; an exquisite, mature Cognac bouquet of the top rank. Sweet, ripe and grapey at palate entry; midpalate is warming and oaky, with a healthy dose of rancio similar to wood resin and maple. Aftertaste is extended and fruity. A class act. P.P.
