The Durou family has been at Gaudou since the 18th century, and today Fabrice Durou is the latest in the line to make Cahors on the 86-acre property. This blend of Malbec, Merlot and Tannat is initially juicy, until the firm, solid tannins kick in. It's still young with blackberry and bold fruit flavors, and young fruit tannins. Roger Voss
