This Carignan-based blend with 25% Grenache is dense and concentrated, highlighting just how well the old Carignan vines from the region can express themselves. Ripe blueberry and boysenberry flavors are matched with medium-intense notes of bay, menthol, sweet bark and bittersweet chocolate. The silky mouth offers a round but balanced feel, with a nice mineral lift to the close.
