This cuvée stands in firm contrast to the winery's more feminine-styled Dame de Piegros, showing the meaty, gamy side of Syrah, powerful spice and blackberry fruit and lashings of vanilla. Ends with firm acids and gripping tannins. This needs 3–4 years of cellaring.
