Château de l'Escarelle 2019 Croix d'Engardin Rosé (Coteaux Varois en Provence)

Named after the cross of the Knights Templar who built a fortress on the estate in the Middle Ages, this is a heady blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault selected from individual parcels. With its intense red and yellow fruits and ripe structure, the wine has a perfumed, floral character. It could even age, but will be ready from late 2020. Roger Voss
