Whiffs of licorice and hazelnut accent plush red apple and pear flavors in this buoyantly juicy Clairette. Matured eight months in new French oak, it's a richer, more textural expression of a typically slim grape peppered by hints of smoke and nutmeg. Lovely now but should drink well through 2025.
