Château du Vieux Puit 2014 Cuvée Croizet (Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux)

A fruity, tank-aged wine that has spice, stalky black-currant fruit and some dry tannins. It is juicy and lightly perfumed with plenty of acidity to keep it crisp. It takes its name from the beehive shaped wells (puit) typical of the north of the Gironde. Drink from 2018. Roger Voss
