Chateau Grand Traverse 2012 Reserve Pinot Noir (Old Mission Peninsula)

The aromas of this Pinot evoke memories of sitting around a campfire over a bed of pine needles. While smoke and pine notes remain dominate on the palate, there is a pleasant concentration of cherry at the core to offer counterbalance. A sandy tannin grip provides the bones to carry all these complexities to a lingering dried herb finish. Alexander Peartree
