Château Haut-Bergey 2002 Pessac-Léognan

No question, this is a mature wine. Its fruit has gone, leaving secondary aromas and the sense that the wine is beginning to dry out. It comes from a vintage that was never given much of a reputation, so, even though this estate is highly rated, the wine is now a curiosity. Roger Voss
