Château Lascombes 2001 Margaux

A fresh, fruity wine, with cigar and wood aromas, spice and light black fruits. This wine comes from before the renaissance that is taking place at Lascombes, and shows the lightness of the wines produced under the old ownership. It is balanced and fresh, with a good, dry aftertaste. Roger Voss
