Although less common than it once was, Malbec is still often part of the blend in red Bergerac. However, this pure Malbec is unusual. It's dark in color, with an almost medicinal aroma. The palate is pure black fruit with firm tannins to support the smoky blackberry flavors. Drink young for the fruitiness.
