Château L'Escadre 2016 Major (Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux)

Cellar Selection

Mint aromas signal the wood aging of this ripe wine. It is named after François Carreau, credited with being the first in Bordeaux to graft rootstock onto vines to protect against phylloxera. The wine is full, poised between big tannins and equally important dark fruits. This impressive wine will age well, but will not be ready before 2022. Roger Voss
