Close to the Côtes de Blaye vineyards in the northwest of Bordeaux, Loumelat offers a crisp, fruity 2012. There is a smoky edge from the wood aging as well as black currant fruit that is still young. Acidity cuts through the aftertaste. Drink from 2016.
