The Bourotte family, which also owns Clos du Clocher in Pomerol, uses consultant Michel Rolland, and the richness of this wine may well be done to his advice. It is very ripe, packed with smooth, velvet Merlot textures and flavors. The flavors are of cooked fruits, plums and blackberries, taking away some freshness, but substituting a fine intensity of taste.
